Reverend Antonio T. Dixon, Sr. was born on October 8, 1980 in the city of Eldorado, AR and raised in Strong, AR by his grandparents Gussie and Sammie Greer. He is the son of Jacklen D. Greer  of Grambling, LA.

He attended high school at Strong High School and graduated Salutatorian of his class. He was also the captain of his high school basketball team and won several awards in athletics. He accepted his call into the gospel ministry in October 1996 at the age of 16.  After high school Pastor Dixon attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. During his time there he became a member of the “Kaptivating” Kappa Kappa Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Education in May of 2003. He then received his Masters in Physical Education in 2005. He received his Master of Divinity from Liberty University in May 2019 and will begin work on his Doctorate in Ministry in Spring 2020.

In October of 2011, Pastor Dixon became the 2nd Pastor in the history of  the Steeple Chase Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA..

Before coming to Steeple, Pastor Dixon was a teacher at Elkins High School in Elkins, AR. He served as the Assistant Head Basketball Coach for the varsity boys basketball team. He has served as Senior Pastor of the Macedonia #2 Missionary Baptist Church in Choudrant, LA. He has also served as the Assistant State Youth Director for The General Baptist State Convention of Michigan under the leadership of his uncle and mentor, Dr. Samuel Greer, Jr.

He is currently a member of Peaceful Rest Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA under the leadership of Dr. R. Timothy Jones. Pastor Dixon currently serves as the Vice-President of Youth and Young Adults of the BM&E State Convention of Louisiana and the Congress President of the Louisiana Progressive Missionary Baptist State Convention. He teaches in the Caddo Parish School System at Ridgewood Middle School.  Pastor Dixon is the father of three wonderful children: Antonio Tremayne Dixon, Jr. (AJ), Germani Addison Elyse Dixon (Mani) and Mekhi Ashton Dixon (Khi).
